Inspire Me Monday : Alyssa from PileOfabric

What is up for me this week?

Firstly a giveaway is on my blog this week until 8th Oct.. hop on here to join.

How about sewing this week? I am not planning any large projects.. just small and quick ones!

Have you joined pinterest? If you have, and any part like me - could we say that it can be a little teeny bits addictive?? LOL.. sometime I could spend hours on the net and on the pinboard just pinning away and being inspired.. but when I think about it, I could actually stop pinning and get working on that project that inspired you (or the tutorial you pinned!)..so today, and throughout this week lets join in and sew some of your inspiration on your pin board!

I have been pinning away on my pinterest board and have recently created a board named Pin It, Sew It. I am pretty sure we do a lot of pinning just to hopefully get to it one day. why not now? before the pins overload.. and I do get overwhelmed when things is too much.. So before my Pin It Sew It pin board becomes too big to handle, I challenge myself to tackle some of the project that I would like to do..


Together with that challenge, I thought I'll feature Alyssa from PileOFabric this week for my Inspire Me Monday. She holds Pin It, Sew It regular linky party on the 1st of every month! Click here to learn more about the rules of the linky party..

By the way, I do think that we should properly link back to the original source of inspiration if we do make something and blog about it. And we also need to respect the original terms and condition, so do make a little effort and go to the original source or contact the owner of the photo you pinned... Things could get all wrong with pinterest and copyright etc.. Still not very familiar with these things, but I must say people get inspired and we could really not claimed originality in crafts - unless it is 100% exactly the same and all or a xerox copy.. thats just my opinion though..

Anyway, hopefully I'll get some of those pins done, and will update about that soon!
