Last May, it was my first time to join the Modern Quilt Guild Canberra's Meeting.
Definitely was a fun one! Glad I did manage to attend this time.
Here are some snippet of the night. Sorry though, I was a bit excited and didn't have much time to adjust the camera setting.. appears a bit noisy. Anyway, Enjoy!
Georgie's Modern Quilt for her sister : Gorgeous colours and so modern
Nicole's Wallhanging quilt with cool colours
Another of Georgie's work : Annela Hoey's line with Disappearing nine patch
And if you have seen my W.I.P post last week, you probably have seen this.
This is our project for this year : Canberra's Map. We are planning to make this as a raffle quilt. This year is Canberra's Centenary Year which makes it so perfect for this quilt to be born!
I am really looking forward to out next meeting so that we can gather up to see what we already have so far. It is so exciting to see everyone's version of their block which represent each grid box of the map!
Wish us luck for the quilt and the raffle organization!
